Value to the Church:
The cover of the book is designed with a large open area on the water for Churches and non-profit organizations to place their logo and contact information. If your Church or organization is giving the book to a patient it is very important that your information appear here. We discovered that of all the advertising money spent trying to get people to come to our churches, this book is perhaps some of the best spent because, PEOPLE NEVER THROW IT AWAY. Once a prayer or visitor note is entered, the book becomes personal and precious. We have been told that people pull the book out at night and reread these loving comments and prayers for encouragement when they are depressed or feeling alone. When something happens in life and they decide they need to go to church, they pull this book out again and think, "This is my Church." They will show up at the church with the tattered, dog-eared book in their hands. As a pastor, our church spent tens of thousands of dollars each year on advertising, which was thrown away in only a few days. But the Patient's Resource Book was never thrown out and brought people into fellowship with the people of God and to the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. |
