Value to the Patient:
This book is intended to be used for minor record keeping. It is a notebook to help a patient remember visitors, their gifts and messages; hospital staff, and their advice. To help family and friends coordinate assistance. It was written to strengthen the vital human links between patients and family, friends, medical staff and God. So frequently patients feel isolated. The book gives people a way to say the things they can't find words for. When used properly, this tool should renew the patients self-image, and hope for the future. It is our desire that those who are suffering physically and emotionally will find God in the valley of the shadow so that none of His children will have to walk alone. - In Joy, John Clark |
